Max and Isabella met for the first time as freshmen at San Francisco State University in 2013. It was a brief yet memorable meeting where Max tried to strike up a conversation about her unattended beer in a mutual friends dorm room but Izzy promptly shut him down thinking he was just looking for a free drink! A year later Max worked up the courage to reach out to the feisty blonde from the dorms once again and this time with beer less scarce and her guard down, she agreed to go on a date. We went to our local pizza place (‘The Pizza Place on Noriega’, still one of our favorites) and had great food and an even better connection. We sat and talked for hours and then Max suggested we drive to the beach to look at the stars. While we sat and talked, there was fireworks. Literally, fireworks went off over the water, much to our surprise. 7 years later and the fireworks have never stopped.
